Diana Perez is an associate attorney at Carrillo Law Firm, LLP.
Diana earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where she actively engaged in advocacy and mentorship. She competed in the 2024 Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition, was a member of Inn of Court, and served as secretary of the American Constitution Society. Passionate about supporting fellow students, she was also a First-Generation Peer Mentor and a Teacher’s Assistant for a legal writing course.
Coming from a humble background as the daughter of immigrant parents, Diana understands firsthand the challenges faced by underserved communities. During law school, she worked at an immigration firm, deepening her understanding of the legal barriers impacting undocumented individuals. She also externed at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, where she argued motions and served as second chair in a criminal trial. Additionally, she worked with the Disability Rights Legal Center and Root & Rebound, advocating for underserved communities.
Diana is dedicated to using her legal skills to create meaningful change and ensure equal access to justice for all.
