BELLFLOWER, LOS ANGELES (July 25, 2026) – A man has tragically died in a Bellflower police shooting at a property on the 10400 block of Artesia Boulevard.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials are saying that the incident occurred around 9:00 PM on Friday night. Authorities responded to a call about a man who is allegedly armed with some type of weapon.
Police arrived at the property and a shooting occurred shortly after they made contact with the person of interest. Paramedics were called to the scene of the incident to help the injured victim.
He was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A full investigation into the circumstances of the shooting remains ongoing.
