MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA (August 7, 2023) – A Milpitas badminton coach at Bintang Badminton identified as Phu Khuu was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a minor.
Santa Clara County officials are saying that Phu Khuu was investigated over allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a minor on July 13, 2023. Milpitas police officers said that the victim disclosed inappropriate physical and sexual communication with the defendant.
Consequently, police officers arrested Phu Khuu on July 25, 2023. He is the co-owner of Bintang Badminton located on 746 South Milpitas Boulevard. Authorities said that the alleged conduct took place at the facility in Milpitas.
The business owner has since been booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail on felony charges. Milpitas police officials are asking anyone with additional information to come forward and speak with them.
