This was the largest settlement ever garnered against a school district in the country. Thereafter Michael continued working on other high-profile matters including being a part of a $58 million settlement against the LAUSD for a case involving teacher Robert Pimental who had sexually abused children at George De La Torre Elementary in Los Angeles. Other cases that include a $17.5 million settlement in an electrocution case on behalf of a family whose father was electrocuted. Recently he garnered a $5 million-dollar verdict against the El Monte Union High School District on behalf of a child sexually abused by her high school science teacher.

Michael continues to work on high-profile cases that have garnered national media attention.
